I've been away from my blog for a while now. I'm sure you all are having similar days and nights....getting ready for the Holidays.

I do want to check in with you though for just a minute and share a delightful experience I had recently.

My beautiful friend Silvia, in Spain sent me a lovely package of her hand made soaps that I purchased to give for Christmas gifts.

  Be sure to check out her amazing soaps at her site Taller de sabo' here .  She has a good variety of soaps and creams which she makes. Her wool felted soaps are one of my favorites.
And besides, she is one of a kind herself. A very sweet soul. xo

Feathered Friend

Here are a few photos of that Great Blue Heron that we see quite often when we go to the beach. I just wanted to share these photos with you as the one of him on my previous post, does not do him justice. So take a look at these.....

Since my garden is gone into hibernation till next Spring, I'll have to find other things to blog about. I love blogging and sharing my days with you all so hope you don't mind if I deviate from the garden theme for a few months. I hope to keep it interesting.

 

I've yet to see one of these huge birds in flight. That would be something to see.
